BioI am a Politics/Mandarin Chinese double major. Politics is my passion and I love to debate (argue!) about anything and everything. Apparently arguing with people is my greatest talent (as my parents love to tell me), so I plan to do a law degree as well (but I will not become an evil, souless corporate lawyer). I would like to go into the public service as an Asia Pacific political analyst or as a diplomat. If I wasn't pursuing a career in international relations and politics I would have loved to do fashion/costume design: I am passionate about historical costume, and am a member of the student theatre costume department at uni.
In the recent past I have fallen in love with lolita fashion, and I am/aspire to be a Classic Lolita who borders on Gothic (or often a Gothic Lolita with Classic elements). I completely adore the EGL aesthetic, because to me Classic/Gothic Lolita fashion is the modern realisation of the best elements of my favourite eras of historical dress. I also appreciate and relate to the strong counter culture element involved in EGL and think that the idea of rebellion through beauty is wonderful.
